About Classic Cycles | ![]() |
| Who are we, and why are we on the net. What started off as a small hobby, has now become a second life for Adrian Mannings, and his wife Christine, who now have over 200 items stored in the garden sheds. These range from an old cycle lamp, to a 1900's Raleigh and even a 36 volt, RESELCO SOLOCAR from 1939. Adrian works for a pet food manufacturing firm, and dedicates nearly all his spare time to the collection. Christine runs the Cancer Research Wales charity shop in Llandovery, South Wales. A number of the cycles in Adrian's collection have been donated by people he has met, whilst showing his first few cycles at country shows. This is to say thank you to them. We also wanted to share our experiences with other cycle lovers, and to let others know about events that they can attend. Like old beer cans, hundreds of quality British bicycles, have been left to rot, in garages and sheds. Now, some of them have had a new lease of life. Do you have such an item that wants to live on?. |
